She had been in a situation in Hull for a few days only but would not stay longer as the place was not at all suitable. She was seen in the streets by a policeman, to whom she told her story and the PC took her to Mrs Funch and she brought her to this home. The girl was in rather poor circumstances but was clean and respectable.
