Circumstances: came to this home, stating that she belonged to Normanton and that she had come to Hull to transact some business for her father who was ill and that she had lost her purse and her money, her statement was believed and she was sheltered for the night and her fare paid to Normanton the following day. On Monday night 3 days later she was again found in the streets at midnight by the police, was taken to the fire station and again sent to this home by Inspector Sewell and told a similar story on this occassion she was admitted and inquiries were made, when it was found she belonged to Hull and her parents are highly respectable people but they can do nothing, she is also dishonest and a very bad girl
