Circumstances: brought to the home by Miss Fielding, Spring Bank she having been sent to her by some gentleman. It appears this girl had been living in service at Bridlington but was persuaded by another Hull girl l[i]ving at the same place to leave and the two walked to Hull. Inquiries were made about her parents and the home manager found her father was a most drunken man, that her home was not a fit place for her. She required a considerable amount of clothing as she was destitute
