Circumstances: found in Chariot Street by Mr David Taylor, Waterloo Street, in an almost destitute condition. He knowing that their home in Walicker Street had recently been taken from them and they having no friends in Hull, nor any money, he brought them to the home they were admitted.

Situation on departure: a situation was found for Emily with Mr Nightingale of Hornsea. Maud was found to be in a very delicate state of health and Dr Close advised her to go to Withernsea Con[valescent] Home, the Chief Constable very kindly gave her a recommendation, the Society paying her expenses (see also POL/4/6/2/3/330 Emily Butter)
