On reaching Hull, the man went into a public house and asked him to wait outside for him, after waiting a considerable time, he went in to look for him, but only to find that the man had gone off without him, he walked the streets, cold and hungry until he was found by the PC as above stated Days in the home: 1 Date left the home: 22 Feb 1902 Situation on departure: his parents were informed through the Sheffield Police and requested him to be sent home in charge of the guard, they promising to pay expenses
