Circumstances: came to Hull on 27th January, having run away from a penitentiary at York, of which institute she had been an inmate for a few mon[ths] and at the time was wearing the clothing of that home. On the following night as she had neither friends or money asked PC Waines to assist her and the PC brought her to this home and the authorities at York were communicated with and stated they did not intend to take proceedings against her for taking away the clothing
