After being away 14 days her father found she was staying at a home in Johns Terrace, Derby Street, the house where she is staying is of very questionable character, she was brought to the Norfolk Street Station by her father. She refused to return home with her father who is of drunken habits. Sergeant Douglass had a conversation with her and she promised to leave the house and come to the home and take a situation. She was in a destitute condition nearly nude, her father refused to assist in clothing her, the Matron went to Hessle and saw her Grandmother, who stated she was a good girl before she kept her father's house Days in the home: 13 Date left the home: 6 May 1901 Situation on departure: clothing was provided by the Society for her and a situation found for her at 1 Clumber Street
