Dr Mason was called to see her at the Norfolk Street Police Station and stated she was suffering from small pox. She was removed to the Garrison Hospital where she remained for a month, on her recovery she had no friends or money and was not in a fit condition to take a situation. Drs Fraser and Mason asked for her to be brought to the home. The Matron being ill the manager paid her 3/- per week for three weeks and 8/- per week after to attend to the management of the home where she remained 64 days when a situation was obtained for her as Cook to Mrs Horton, Sutton Hall Days in the home: 64 Date left the home: 1 Nov 1899 Situation on departure: situation obtained as cook at Sutton Hall
