13 Mar 1885 being in the Tiger No 3 drinking when on duty at 10.40pm on the 13th inst, fined 3 days pay by the Watch Committee
11 Jul 1885 being 30 minutes late at the 5.45am parade on the 11th inst, reprimanded and cautioned by the Chief Constable
18 Jul 1885 reported by Superintendent Pickering for being in the Audacious public house at 7.55pm on the 17th July 1885, fined 1 weeks pay by the Watch Committee and informed [that] if brought before the Committee again and the charge proved would be dismissed
8 Jun 1886 being absent from the 12.45pm parade (change) until 1.45pm on the 7th instant, severely reprimanded and fined 1 shilling and sixpence by the Chief Constable
