14 Aug 1896 neglecting his duty by lying upon a handcart at 3.40am, severely reprimanded and fined 2 days pay by the Chief Constable
20 Apr 1898 neglecting his duty by being sat asleep on a doorstep when on duty in Division Road at 3.50am on the 13th April 1898, being worse for drink when coming off duty at 6am on the 14th April 1898, neglecting to report himself going off duty at about 11.15pm on the 14th inst, being worse for drink and unfit for duty at 11.40pm on the 14th inst
