30 Dec 1880 drinking in the Cromwell Hotel when on duty at 10.50pm on the 29th inst, fined 1 shilling and cautioned by the Chief Constable
25 Nov 1887 being in the Punch Hotel for the purpose of drinking at 11.35am when on duty, also stated that he had got permission which was not true, severely reprimanded and fined 2 days pay by the Chief Constable
24 Dec 1887 drinking in the Queens Arms on the 24th instant, fined 1 weeks pay by the Watch Committee
6 Dec 1892 drinking a glass of beer when on duty at 9.40pm at a shop with a beer off-licence, No 40 Derby Street on the 6th inst, fined 1 weeks pay by the Watch Committee and warned if the offence was repeated to be dismissed - notice given
