9 Feb 1897 being absent from his point on the Hessle Road from 12.15 until 1.10pm, severely reprimanded and fined 2 shillings and sixpence by the Chief Constable and to be reported on at the end of 3 months
14 Apr 1899 reported by Inspector Sigsworth for being sat down drinking when on duty in the Sportsmans Arms, Day Street, at 11.15pm on the 14th April 1899 for which offence he and PC 138 Benson were fined 10 shillings and costs each by the Stipendiary Magistrate on the 5th May, suspended by the Chief Constable [on the] 19th April, reinstated [on the] 10th May by the Watch Committee but reduced from 27 shillings to 24 shillings per week and [to be] reported upon at the end of 6 months
31 Aug 1902 being absent from duty from 5.45 to 6.05am, severely reprimanded and fined 2 shillings and sixpence by the Chief Constable
6 Oct 1911 being absent from West Park fire box from 3.05pm to 3.25pm on the 25th September 1911, reprimanded and fined 2 shillings and sixpence by the Chief Constable
