13 Aug 1889 warrant granted by E C Twiss for that he being a Constable for the said Borough, duly appointed by the Watch Committee, was guilty of a certain neglect of his duty, to wit, absenting himself without leave on the 13th August 1889, fined 40 shillings by E C Twiss Esquire and dismissed by the Watch Committee without pay
