4 Apr 1881 being drunk when on duty at 2.15am on the 3rd April 1881, fined 1 shilling and sixpence and severely reprimanded by the Chief Constable
12 Jan 1884 being drunk on the Beverley Road when off duty but in uniform [on the ]10 inst, fined 2 shillings and sixpence, reprimanded and transferred to C Division by the Chief Constable
3 Aug 1885 being absent from the 5.45am parade on the 2nd inst until 6.45am, reprimanded and cautioned by the Chief Constable
24 May 1886 being absent from the 5.45am parade 'til 6.15am [on the] 24th inst, fined 2 shillings and sixpence and severely reprimanded by the Chief Constable
3 Aug 1887 drinking in the American Tavern at 11.55.am on duty on the 2nd inst, fined 1 days pay and reprimanded by the Chief Constable
12 Oct 1889 being worse for drink and unfit for duty at 5.50pm on the 12th inst also for using improper language to a superior officer severely reprimanded and fined 2 days pay by the Chief Constable
19 Mar 1890 using bad language to Mr R Beckworth, School Building Officer, on the 19th March 1890, reprimanded and fined 5 shillings by the Chief Constable
28 Jul 1890 striking a prisoner named Ptokell who was charged with being drunk and disorderly at Norfolk Street, called upon to resign by the Watch Committee
