16 May 1881 improper conduct in releasing a man named Evan Galloway in the street from his custody who had been given in charge by the prosecutor Thomas Barrow for assault and subsequently arresting the prosecutor on an unfounded charge of causing a crowd to assemble, severely reprimanded and cautioned by the Chief Constable
29 Sep 1883 being absent from the Police Court at 10.40am on the 20th inst when required to give evidence, reprimanded by the Chief Constable
