31 Oct 1882 neglect of duty by idling and gossiping with two females at the corner of Bowlalley Lane for 4 minutes and after that accompanying them into a passage, Exchange Entry, and remaining there 20 minutes, severely reprimanded and cautioned by the Chief Constable
10 Dec 1892 committing a breach of discipline in not reporting a circumstance which occured in connection with his duties and acting in such a manner (in the company of a woman) as to be unbecoming a Police Officer, severely reprimanded and cautioned as to his future behaviour and warned that if any similar offence be proved against him he will be removed from the Detective Department by the Chief Constable, 6 Jan 1893
