25 May 1879 being in a watchman's office when on duty at 2.15am, fined 1 days pay by [the] Chief Constable
8 Nov 1880 neglecting to visit a portion of his beat from 6 to 9am on the 7 Nov 1880, cautioned by [the] Chief Constable
12 Nov 1881 being drinking inside the Alexandra spirit vault, Hessle Road, at 4.30pm on the 11th inst whilst on duty, fined 1 shilling and sixpence and reprimanded by [the] Chief Constable
