21 Jul 1882 being absent from his beat and found drinking in the Golden Cross Hotel, Porter Street at 9.55pm [on the] 20th inst., fined 1 shilling and sixpence and reprimanded by [the] Chief Constable
28 Oct 1882 being absent from his quarters from 12 midnight on the 27th to 2.30am on the 28th inst., transferred to C Division by [the] Chief Constable
