1 Feb 1882 reported by Sergeant Bradley for being drunk whilst on duty in Whitefriargate at 1.10am [on the] 1st instant, also complained of by Mrs Chance wife of David Chance, seaman of No 16 Edwin Place, Porter Street, Hull for indecently assaulting her daughter age 11 years in a passage at the rear of the White Hart public house, Whitefriargate, between 12 midnight and 1am same date, suspended [on the] 2nd instant by [the] Chief Constable, dismissed by [the] Sub Watch Committee [on the] 8th instant - pay as Constable to the !st inst. inclusive
