16 Aug 1882 reported by Acting Inspector Elliott for being drunk and unfit for duty when on duty at the fire in Waltham Street at 11.45pm [on the] 12th inst., also reported by Sergeant Worrall for being absent from 6am parade until 9am on the 13th inst., called upon to resign by [the] Watch Committee
