20 Aug 1861 being absent from his beat [for] one hour and when found was drunk and unfit for duty, fined 1 days pay by [the] Chairman
27 Jan 1862 being in the streets in plain clothes at 2.45pm without leave, fined 1 shilling by the Chief Constable
22 Apr 1862 being worse for liquor when on duty at 3am, fined 1 days pay by [the] Chief Constable
1 Nov 1864being off his beat and in the Blue Ball public house at 2am when on duty, fined 1 shilling by the Chief Constable
24 Oct 1865 exceeding his duty by knocking a man down and afterwards taking him into custody for being drunk and disorderly on the 22nd inst. The man was discharged, case dismissed by the Watch Committee
20 Feb 1866 making use of intimidating language to P.C.129 Hornby to prevent him doing his duty on the 18th inst., fined 1 days pay by the Chairman of the Watch Committee
3 May 1866 disorderly conduct in Waterworks Street at 6.15am, reprimanded by [the] Watch Committee
3 Sep 1866 assaulting Margaret Frazier in North Street on Sunday morning last, case dismissed
20 Mar 1867 assaulting John Gollans in South Street at 12.15am on the 16th instant, reprimanded by [the] Watch Committee
10 Apr 1867 for being drunk and laid down in George Yard at 2.40am when on duty, dismissed the Force
