2 Jan 1863 being drunk when for duty at 5pm also absent from duty from 5 to 9pm, fined 2 days pay [by the] Watch Committee
16 Nov 1863 being remiss in his duty by not keeping the people seated in the Police Court, severely reprimanded by the Chief Constable
29 Feb 1864 being drunk when on duty at 12.50am on the 28th inst., fined 2 days pay and reprimanded by the Watch Committee
27 Apr 1864 being absent from duty from 11 to 11.25pm [on the] 25th inst. and when found was coming out of the White Horse public house, Carr Lane, fined 1 days pay and reprimanded by the the Chairman of the Watch Committee
2 May 1864 being sat down smoking a cigar and drinking wine in the Florence Cafe, Chariot Street at 1.55am when off his beat and on duty, fined 1 days pay by the Chief Constable
10 Sep 1864 being drunk when on duty at 11pm yesterday, allowed to resign [by the] Watch Committee.
