30 Apr 1859 being drunk in Parliament Street when on duty at 5.30pm, fined 2 days pay and reprimanded [by the] Watch Committee
20 Jun 1859 being absent from his lodgings until 12.15am without leave, fined 1 shilling by the Chief Constable.
14 Oct 1859 for making use of insubordinate language to Sergeant Edgecombe and being worse for liquor at the time, severely reprimanded by the Chief Constable
