17 Jul 1863 being worse for liquor when on duty at 5.30pm also for pulling a woman about and threatening to lock her up without cause, fined 2 days pay by and reprimanded by [the] Watch Committee
23 Oct 1863 being drunk and unfit for duty at 6pm when parading at the Station House at 6pm, fined 1 days pay and reprimanded [by the] Watch Committee
18 Dec 1863 being absent fom his beat from 10.20 to 11.30pm and when found was drunk and unfit for duty, fined 3 days pay by and reprimanded [by the] Watch Committee
25 Feb 1864 being 45 minutes late for duty at 6am and then reporting himself sick, fined 1 shilling and sixpence by the Chief Constable
11 Jun 1864 standing talking with P.C.111 Hardbottle at 11pm yesterday when on duty, severely reprimanded by the Chief Constable
29 Apr 1865 being drunk when on duty at 4.15am, severely reprimanded by the Watch Committee
3 May 1865 resigned by permission of the Watch Committee
