Description	Name and rank: Acting Inspector George Collinson Date joined: 26 Jun 1836 Age: 32 years Crimes and punishment: 12 Apr 1843 promoted to the rank of Sergeant 24 Nov 1847 promoted to the rank of Acting Inspector 5 Mar 1851 being in the house of Mary Hance where a robbery had been committed and not reporting that he had been there, severely reprimanded by the Watch Committee. 3 Sep 1851 neglecting to report the case of a Jew passing a base sovereign, reduced to the rank of Sergeant. 4 Mar 1852 placed upon the Superannuation Fund according to the Act of Parliament being incapable of further duty in consequence of ill health.
