19 Dec 1959 being absent from his beat from 2:30 to 5:40am and when found was worse for liquor, fined 3 days pay and severely reprimanded by the Watch Committee
16 May 1860 being 25 minutes late for duty at 5pm, fined1 shilling by the Chief Constable
16 Jun 1860 resigned having given the usual months notice
