5 Sep 1848 being absent fom drill yesterday, fined 1 shilling by the Chief Constable
1 Jan 1859 being two hours and 50 minutes late for duty at Sessions, fined 1 shilling and sixpence and reprimanded by the Chief Constable
15 Sep 1863 being off his beat and in the Tiger Inn dram shop, Waterwork Street at 5am, cautioned by the Chief Constable
20 Jan 1864 promoted to the rank of Sergeant
