Includes three photographs showing a group of plain clothes constables attending a refresher course at Brant Broughton in Lincolnshire, two plain clothes officers, c.1940s and a group of officers, nd.(c.1950s). Also includes a postcard of Brant Broughton. The correspondence is from the assistant chief constable to a Mr M N Lake thanking him for the nine photographs he sent in for the 'Policeman's Progress' exhibition to be held at the Welholme Galleries in Grimsby from 9 Nov to 7 Dec 1985. It is assumed these photographs comprise four of the nine photographs sent in. Appears in the deposit agreements at POL/1/8/8/2. |
