| Description | These panels may have been displayed at the same exhibition to detail the formation of Humberside Police. They include a large number of images taken from photographs that appear elsewhere in the police collections, including Hull City police, East Riding Constabulary, Humberside police, Grimsby Borough police and Lincoln police. They also include text panels and labels used to provide a commentary on the images. The exhibition appears to have been a comprehensive, wide-ranging look at policing from its history, the nature of policing and its reorganisation in the late 1960s and 1970s. The exhibition panels were loose in a box so some arrangement has been attempted in relation to the text panels by sorting into geographical police forces. |
