DescriptionMany photographs are unidentified but the file includes photographs of police helmets, cap badges, lanterns, truncheons, handcuffs and some uniforms. The following photographs have been identified:
1) Brighton Borough Police, showing Pye VHF radio equipment in a patrol car. Driver PC Harding, observer PC Cummings, c.1953.
2) Denbighshire Constabulary, Auxiliaries 'A' Division, 1942.
3) Eastbourne Force: Eastbourne band, 1912; members of Eastbourne Mounted Branch, c.1925; Hyde Park contingent, 20 Jul 1935.
4) Flintshire Constabulary during investiture of the Prince of Wales at Caernarfon Castle, 1911.
5) Glamorgan Police, PC 41.
6) Kent County Constabulary: early members of the Kent Constabulary, c.1860s; Sevenoaks Division, 1893; early members of the bicycle patrol, c.1896; Tunbridge Wells Borough Force, 1898 (amalgamated with Kent County Constabulary in 1943).
