Pocklington Primitive Methodist Circuit included Acklam, Allerthorpe, Barmby Moor, Bishop Wilton, Broomfleet Landing, Bugthorpe, Fangfoss, Fridaythorpe, Gilberdyke, Goodmanham, Hayton, Holme, Huggate, Leavening, Market Weighton, Melbourne, Meltonby, Millington, New Village, Pocklington, Sancton, Seaton Ross, Shipton, Sutton on Derwent, Warter, Westow, Wilberfoss and Yapham. In 1875 Market Weighton, Sancton, Goodmanham, Shipton and Londesborough were separated from the circuit to create the Market Weighton Circuit. In 2008 Pocklington Circuit and Market Weighton Circuit combined to become Pocklington and Market Weighton Methodist Circuit. In 2023 they renamed as Wolds Edge Methodist Church (see MRX). |
