Hornsea Primitive Methodist Circuit (later Market Place) contained chapels at Aldbrough, Atwick, Beeford, Bewholme, Brandesburton, Catwick, Cowden, Hatfield, Hornsea, Leven, Nunkeeling, Riston, Seaton, Sigglesthorne, Skirlaugh and Withernwick.
The Union of the Wesleyan and Primitive Methodists took place in 1932. The Trinity and Market Place circuits were amalgamated into the Hornsea Methodist Circuit in 1963.
The Hornsea Methodist Circuit was replaced by the Driffield Hornsea Methodist Circuit, an amalgamation of the former Driffield and Hornsea Circuits, which came into being in September 2012 |
