| Abstract | The author has taken extracts from parish registers in the Deanery of Hedon that date back before 1603 including registers for Hedon, Preston and Ottringham, Halsham, Hollym, Patrington, Roos, Owthorne, Humbleton, Winestead, Garton and Skeffling and records interesting entries from the registers, also with an appendix summarising the numbers of baptisms and burials from the years 1570-1720 |
