TitlePolished flint arrowheads from East Yorkshire
Date1975
DescriptionA survey and re-examination of polished arrowheads from East Yorkshire in the Yorkshire Museum.
AbstractOver 200 arrowheads were found with some kind of polishing, many of them coming from an area in the northern Wolds in the vicinity of the Gpsey Race. The large number of polished arrowheads and their distribution suggest that they are authentic and a practice confined to part of the Bronze Age.
