DescriptionRelates to a site in an area called Dyke Fields 1 km south of the vilalge of Weaverthorpe in the Great Wold Valley. To the south of the site is the major linear earthwork known as the Great Wold Dyke, which runs from Sledmere to near Burton Fleming.
AbstractCrops marks found at Weaverthorpe and photographed in 1979 show an entrance leading through a series of ditches which formed part of a large system of land boundaries.
