TitleThe restoration Bourchiers of Beningbrough Grange
Date1988
DescriptionIncludes pedigree of the Bourchier family and transcription of the inventory of Sir Barrington Bourchier 1695.
AbstractThe Bourchier family owned the Beningbrough estates near York for 270 years (1557-1827). The extent of their lands there, and elsewhere in Yorkshire, at the peak of their 18th century prosperity indicate that the Bourchiers were important land-owners.
