The earliest surviving circuit record starts in 1880 Carlton and Rawcliffe churches (and possibly one of the Goole churches?) may previously have been in the Swinefleet Primitive circuit (for records see EMG/3-6). Records prior to the Methodist Union of 1932 are those of the Primitive circuit. After 1932 the circuit was called Goole, Carlisle Terrace It amalgamated with the Goole, North St circuit in 1949 to form the Goole circuit (for records see EMG/50-64)
