TitleSwinefleet Primitive Circuit c.1832?-1934
DescriptionNotes
This circuit appears to have been formed from the Brotherton and Swinefleet (Primitive) Union circuit c 1832 (for records see, EMG 2). The Howden branch of the circuit seems to have become the Howden Primitive circuit c 1873 (for records see EMG 125-126) Carlton, Rawcliffe and possibly the Goole church were later in the Goole Primitive circuit (earliest record 1880) (for records see EMG 44-49) Of the three churches still existing when the circuit ended in August 1934, Swinefleet closed, whilst Garthorpe and Whitgift joined the Goole, North Street circuit (for records see EMG 10-43). For other records of the Swinefleet Primitive circuit see MF2/3
