| AdminHistory | William Pickering was a builder in Driffield during the 1820s and 1830s. Some of the account books mention working on a national school and a methodist chapel which possibly relate to the ones in Driffield. Some of the account books are organised according to place and list the individuals for whom he was working. Some account books are written in pencil and are quite feint. This list is divided into two main parts. The first part relates to nineteenth century papers and accounts . The latter part lists printed catalogues for hardware which date from the late nineteenth century to the twentieth century. |
