To hold of John le Man and his heirs for the accustomed rents and services. Note: there is some doubt as to whether this deed relates to the Tunstall in the East Riding of Yorkshire as there is no sea crossing to the immediate south and other names do not appear to be local. There are two other Tunstalls in counties by the coast, in Suffolk and Norfolk. Neither the Suffolk nor Norfolk County Record Offices can identify any of the places referred to in this deed as being in their counties. |
