Note: John Major was the executor of the will of William Lyon, late of Millington, since Tibthorpe, farmer, deceased, who was the surviving executor and trustee of the will of Emanuel Lownsbrough, Kilham, yeoman, deceased. The other trustees of Emanuel Lownsbrough's will were James Lakin who died 19 May 1875 at Garton on the Wolds and Francis Danby who died 12 May 1861 at Kilham. William Lyon died 4 Jan 1882 at Great Driffield, his widow married Henry Pape.
