AdminHistoryLeonard Sampson (1936-1959) and his son Timothy Sampson (1963-2003) farmed Bolton House Farm in Bolton.
CustodialHistoryDigital copies made with the permission of the owner as part of the 'Rural Roots' project. 'Rural Roots' was a project funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund between January 2007 and March 2008 that appointed an outreach officer to develop local history groups in three selected rural communities. Part of the project involved identifying archive collections still held in the community and arranging for digital copies to be made of them. These digital copies were generated as a result of this project.
