DescriptionThe first lecture will examine the earth's motion using the orrery, the second lecture looks at the tides, the eclipses of the sun and moon and the comet of 1680 and the third lecture examines the polarization of light using experiments by means of the hydro-oxygen polariscope. After each lecture Messrs Keevil will exhibit their diorama illumined by hydro-oxygen gas.
