DescriptionThe SS 'Broomfleet' was lost in a gale on the east coast around 14 Dec 1933 after setting sail from Goole Docks, West Riding, on 13 Dec 1933 to Ipswich. Bodies were washed ashore in Norfolk. The crew comprised Captain J W Hutchinson, the master, E Gunnill, W Hiley, R Dade, W Darragh, A McKay, D Greenwood, J Harlington, C Doubtfire, H Smart, J F Green, and A A Conn, all from Goole, and C Upcraft of Hull.
