DescriptionConcluding: two companies of infantry (not less than 60 men) in addition to the company manning Bridlington fort and one corps of cavalry (not more than 50 men) be raised; infantry to defend fort at Bridlington and neighbourhood, cavalry coast of Holderness; Digby Legard be offered command of a Patrington Company, or Lieutenancy in Humphrey Osbaldeston’s Hunmanby company; Duke of Leeds be asked to approve and obtain his Majesty’s permission for Thomas Grimston, Humphrey Osbaldeston and John Pitts to be commissioned in command of companies of cavalry and for Hunmanby and Bridlington Quay areas respectively.
