John Dixon of Swinefleet, West Riding, yeoman, in his will dated 4 Apr 1756, left a legacy of £200 to his niece Rebeccah Dixon on the occasion of her marriage, and £7 a year until then, charged on his lands in Redness [Reedness] and Swinefleet, West Riding.
