Also a messuage and croft containing 2 roods at Asselby, with the Primitive Methodist Chapel to the north and west, and Town Street to the north.

Note: John Smith of Asselby, yeoman, died 15 Oct 1862 leaving a will dated 29 Jun 1862, leaving his property to his daughter Hannah Palmer for her life time, and then to the use of his grandsons John Smith Palmer and William Palmer. Includes schedule of transactions 1781-1872 and plan of property.
