Note: Charles Simpson of Hemingbrough, retired coal merchant, died 8 Jan 1910, and left the property at Hemingbrough to his wife Ann Simpson during her life time, and then to Benjamin Simpson.
Also covenant to surrender the above mentioned copyholds discharged from the within written mortgage dated 24 Nov 1919.
