Isaac Puckrin immigrated from Whitby district ,Yorkshire, England to the Audley district of Pickering Township in the year 1852, taking for his wife Ann Brignall, formerly of Winteringham
They purchased a portion of Lot 6, Concession 111 in 1854. Among many later land acquirements was the purchase of part of Lot 5, Con 111 from James Madill in 1887 where stood a log house with frame addition, seven children.
