Information:
Token of Respect: Presentation made to Mr John Day by the teachers of the Beverley Primitive Methodist Sabbath School (who is about to leave the country for America). School secretary during the past 11 years
Also on Tuesday evening last at a supper given for the occasion, at host Taylors 'the Lion and the Lamb', a splendid silver medal presented to the above gentleman by the brethren of the Order of Forseters of whom Mr Day has been a consistent member for the past 10 years
